Nancy Sansom Reynolds received her MFA in sculpture from George Washington University in Washington, DC and has exhibited throughout the United States for 35 years. During that time her work has evolved from colorful, surreal, relief paintings to her current abstract, organic plywood sculptures. She has participated in over 130 exhibitions, including solo shows in venues such as the American Institute of Architects (Washington, DC); The Corcoran Museum of Art (Washington, DC); Addison/Ripley Fine Art Gallery (Washington, DC); Boritzer Gray Hamano Gallery (Santa Monica, CA); Kiang Gallery (Atlanta, GA); Anton Gallery (Washington, DC); Gallery Materia (Scottsdale, AZ); and art centers in the eastern and western US. Her work is part of numerous public and private collections across the United States and in Europe, Africa and Asia. Her sculpture has been commissioned for many public spaces including the UMICH Cardiovascular Institute (Detroit, MI), the Dartmouth University Medical Center (Lebanon, NH), Nokia Headquarters (New York, NY) the St. Regis Hotel (San Francisco, CA); The Washington, DC Convention Center; Mandalay Bay Hotel (Las Vegas, NV); MGM Grand Hotel (Detroit, MI), Liberty Investments (Denver, CO); Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher and Flom (Los Angeles, CA); The Marriott Hotels (Indianapolis, IN and Miami, FL); and the U.S. Embassies in Nepal and Abidjan, Cote D’Ivoire, Africa. She has been a finalist or semi - finalist for public art projects in California, Washington, DC, Maryland, and Atlanta, GA. 
 
Sansom Reynolds’ work has been well received by art critics nationwide and has been the subject of comprehensive reviews in: ArtNews, Art in America, The Washington Post, Sculpture magazine, American Craft magazine, the Los Angeles Times, ArtPapers, the Atlanta Journal Constitution, New Art Examiner, Art New England, American Style, Interior Design magazine, Scottsdale Life magazine, and numerous other publications. Her unique process and artwork has been featured in a 30 minute documentary that has aired on Maryland Public Television. She has taught as an Adjunct Professor and Adjunct Instructor of Art at Montgomery College, Rockville, MD, the University of Maryland, College Park, Yavapai College, Clarkdale, AZ, and Northern Arizona University, Flagstaff, AZ. She is currently represented by Addison/Ripley Fine Art, Washington, DC, Susan Street Fine Art Gallery, Solano Beach, CA, and Gilman Contemporary, Ketchum, ID.
